Call Your Mom makes cooperative work that utilizes audio and video art, movement, computer programming, poetry, humor, installation and interactivity. The group is a collective with a unique collaboration style that is evident in the warmth and force of their work. With a constantly expanding practice, Call Your Mom builds their personal repertoire while creating new access points for audiences to engage with performance art.
The group began working together as students at the University of Michigan in September of 2015. All four members are currently seniors.
Mentors include Holly Hughes, Anita Thompson, and Candace Moore.
